Women's Tennis Wins Two Matches In Nashville

Against Tennessee-Chattanooga (5-13) the Racers dropped matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles but swept the remaining singles matches to pull out the 4-2 win. No doubles matches were played.
Anastasia Zhukova, the 46th ranked player in NCAA Division I women's tennis, beat MSU's Anna Lask, 6-0 and 6-1, at No. 1 singles. Rachael Lask won the first set at No. 2 singles, but UTC's Lindsey Ballard took the second and third sets by 6-4 scores to claim the point for the Mocs.
Senior Casady Pruitt knocked off Beata Knizat, 6-4 and 7-6 (7-1), at No. 3 singles.

Anna Lask teamed with Adriana Alvarez to beat Megan Haynes and Penelope Johnson, 8-1, at No. 1 doubles. McGahee and Bochenek took out Stephanie Fields and Lauren Harrison, 8-1, at No. 2 doubles.
All five Racers earned straight set victories in singles play. Anna Lask tied Murray State's career record for combined singles and doubles wins with a 6-2 and 6-0 victory over Haynes at No. 1 singles. Lask is tied with Sheri Chong (1985-89) with 185 career wins.
McGahee, Bochenek and Ottosen each lost just one game on their way to 6-1 and 6-0 wins. Alvarez shutout
