Racers Cruise In Win Over Bethel

The Murray State women's basketball team put an end to three-game skid Thursday night at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky with an 86-59 over Bethel (TN).Â
After slow start to the game that saw the score sit at 9-3 after one complete, the Racers exploded offensively by posting at least 20 points in each subsequent quarter, including 32 in the third. Murray State not only put up big numbers offensively, but they outrebounded the Lady Wildcats as well, 51-34.
Evelyn Adebayo posted her third straight double-double and fifth of the season with game-highs of 21 points and 13 rebounds. Janika Griffith-Wallace also posted a double-double in the game with 10 points and 10 boards. Macey Turley added 15, while Cekeya Mack chipped in 12 to round out the Racers in double digits.
Murray State returns to action Tuesday for their final home game of 2018 against Southern Illinois at 5 p.m.
