#8 Mississippi State Too Much For Racers

The Murray State women's basketball team fell to eighth-ranked Mississippi State, 124-43, Friday night at Humphrey Coliseum in Starkville, Mississippi State.
The Bulldog's Jessika Carter used a first quarter double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds to help push her team out a 34-7 lead after one and Mississippi State never looked back from there. Carter finished the night with 25 points and 18 boards including nine of 10 from the free throw line.
Alexis Burpo led Murray State on the night with eight point and five rebounds, while G'Torria Swinton had five points and a team-high six-rebounds.
The Racers close out their four-game road trip next Tuesday in Nashville to take on Lipscomb at 7 p.m.
