Racer Runners Face Season Opener at SEMO

The Murray State Cross Country Squads compete Friday evening at the Osage Center in Cape Girardeau
The Murray State Cross Country teams travel to Cape Girardeau Friday to compete in the Redhawk Invitational, staged at the Osage Center.

The Friday evening event has the Men's 5,000 meter race beginning at 6:15 p.m., with the women's race going off at 6:45 ap.m. Both races have a 5,000 meter distance to cover.

The fall season has the Racers competing in four events leading up to the Missouri Valley Conference Championship (Nov. 1) in Cedar Falls, Iowa at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course.
