MOMENTUM IS BUILDING around Murray State Athletics.
Across our programs, our facilities and our organization, we are continuing to turn vision into action. What we have talked about building together is increasingly becoming visible across our campus—and this fall represents another important chapter in the evolution of Racer Athletics.
Building for the Future
Our capital progress continues at a remarkable pace.
Last Friday, we broke ground on the next phase of Johnny Reagan Field at Taylor Family Park, creating a transformational home for Racer Baseball and another first-class venue for our student-athletes and fans.

At the CFSB Center, we recently celebrated the beam topping-off ceremony, a major milestone in the renovation of one of the most iconic venues in college basketball and a cornerstone of our vision for the future.

The Board of Regents' approval of Owens Family Field represents another important investment and a powerful statement about our commitment to advancing women's sports and providing championship-level resources across Racer Athletics.
This fall, Rudolph Family Field at Roy Stewart Stadium hosted its first Racer Football game, beginning a new era for our football program and game-day experience. These new enhancements included brand new FieldTurf and a freshly-laid, navy track.
We have also completed the Draffen Family Performance Center, with more than $4 million in improvements within the stadium are helping modernize the home of Racer Football.

A new videoboard will be installed this season at Rudolph Family Field at Roy Stewart Stadium, further enhancing the experience for our student-athletes, fans and community.
These projects are more than buildings, fields and scoreboards.
They are investments in people. They are investments in recruiting. They are investments in creating sustainable revenue streams. And they are investments in the future of Racer Athletics.
Racer Entertainment Village
Our vision also extends beyond our traditional athletics footprint.
We have officially begun the feasibility study for Racer Entertainment Village and have started early conversations with community stakeholders about what this transformational development could mean for Murray State and the broader region.

The opportunity is bigger than athletics.
Our goal is to explore how sports, entertainment, hospitality, commercial development and community engagement can come together to create new experiences, new economic activity and new revenue opportunities.
Building a Sustainable Athletics Enterprise
At the same time, we continue exploring new revenue capabilities and new commercial levers to ensure we are creating a sustainable model for highly-competitive and nationally-relevant Division I athletics.
The economics of college athletics are changing rapidly. Our responsibility is not simply to react to that change—it is to position Murray State to lead within it.
That means thinking differently about how we generate revenue, develop our brand, activate our facilities, create content, engage partners and deliver experiences.
It also means continuing to evolve our organization.
The addition of Derek Doolittle as Assistant Vice President/Deputy AD & Chief Operating Officer represents an important step in that evolution. Derek's experience leading venue management, events and entertainment at the Rose Bowl brings a unique perspective to our front office, and his impact is already being felt as we continue developing Racer Athletics as both an elite athletics program and a growing sports and entertainment enterprise.

Additionally, our organization has implemented strategies and organizational efficiencies to prioritize our front office operations: focused on revenue share distribution, contract management, NIL execution, athlete brand building, data analytics, and roster construction. As well as, emphasizing our prioritization of infrastructure: advancing our strategies of recruiting and revenue generation.
The Standard
Through all of this growth, our objective remains simple: Deliver best-in-class experiences.
For our student-athletes.
For Front Office Operations.
For our fans.
For our donors and partners.
For our campus.
And for Racer Nation.
We have accomplished a great deal together—but we are not building toward where college athletics has been. We are building toward where it is going.
The facilities are rising.
The organization is evolving.
The enterprise is growing.
And the momentum is real.
