- Ran a best four mile time of 21:52 at the Austin Peay Invitational where he finished in second.
- At the Notre Dame Invitational, he ran a personal best five mile time of 26:24.

- Competed at Powell County High School.
- Received the conference leadership and conference runner of the year award his junior year.
