Racers women’s basketball took their first MVC loss at Northern Iowa.

In A Nutshell
The Murray State women's basketball falls at Northern Iowa (75-95) for their first Missouri Valley Conference loss of the season, Friday. This ends the Racers winning streak at 11 which is tied for the program's longest winning streak (2008-09).

The Panthers set the pace early by outscoring the Racers 29-13 in the first quarter and 26-16 in the second. The Racers outscored the Panthers 46-40 but it was not enough to take the game back.

Katelyn Young made 12 points and 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. She is now third all-time in Racers' history with 36-career double-doubles.
