The Murray State Women's Basketball Team wraps their visit to the Hawkeye state at Drake, Sunday.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams with Drake having won the two previous meetings, last season.

The Racers are coming off a 75-95 loss at Northern Iowa where their 11-game winning streak came to a close. Their 11-game winning is tied for the program's longest winning streak fom the 2008-09 season where the Racers, led by Rob Cross, won the Ohio Valley Conference.

The Racers joins the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 Poll at 23rd this week.
MSU enters the game with the second-highest scoring offense in the nation with 91.1 points per game. They have nine 90-plus point games this season.
The Racers lead the nation in bench points with 41.0 points per game.
Ava Learn was named Missouri Valley Conference after averaging 11.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last week.
Dominant on the paint, Learn made nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks against Indiana State. Followed by 14 points, eight rebounds and a block against Evansville.
Katelyn Young is included in the 2024 Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Mid-Season Watch List by Her Hoop Stats.
Young posted her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds at Northern Iowa.
Zoe Stewart proves her offensive prowess by averagin 15 points last week.
Rechelle Turner enters her seventh season after guiding the Racers through their inaugural MVC season.

Scouting Drake

Drake is the only undefeated team in Missouri Valley Conference play with a 6-0 record.
They have an overall record of 13-4 and are on a seven-game wining streak.
Katie Dinnebier leads the MVC in points (18.3) and assists (6.4) per game.
As tandem, Gace Berg is fourth in the conference in points per game (16.7).

What a Racer Win Means?

The Races will hop back in the winning column with their sixth conference win of the season.
Murray State will be return to being the winningest team in the conference with a 6-1 conference and 13-3 overall record.
Head Coach Rechelle Turner will take her 104th career win.
