Rifle Posts 4717 in Lexington

The Murray State Racers posted a score of 4717 in a match against Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. on Saturday.Â
ÂThe Wildcats came out on top in the competition with an aggregate of 4740. Â
ÂScott Patterson was the highest scorer for the Navy & Gold with an aggregate of 1183, good for third overall, and tied his season-high in air rifle with a 597. Â
ÂFreshman Carlotta Salafia claimed fifth overall with an aggregate of 1182 and scored of 586 and 596 in smallbore and air rifle. Â
ÂJohn Blanton was the only other Racer to finish in the top ten, posting an aggregate of 1179 with a 586 in smallbore and 593 in air rifle. Â
ÂThe Racers are back in action for their final match of the 2024 calendar year against Jacksonville State in Jacksonville, Ala. on Saturday, November 23 at 9 a.m. CT.Â
