On the back of 16 made three pointers, Murray State women's basketball won 105-57 over Little Rock
Murray State women's basketball was dominant in their Tuesday night matchup with Little Rock winning 105-57 in Little Rock, Arkansas. On the back of Halli Poock's 29 points, the Racers made 16 three pointers, tied for the second most in a single game in program history.
Poock posted 16 points in the first quarter to pace the Racers as fellow sophomore guard Haven Ford reached double digits in the first half before finishing the contest with 12 points and nine assists. Ava Learn has 15 points and six rebounds and freshman Braxcynn Baker picked up a new career-high 14 points to go with four rebounds. Katelyn Young and Briley Pena each had 11 points to round out the double digit scorers for the Racers while freshman Jada Cook impressed with nine points.
MSU shot 53.7 percent from the field and a staggering 94.4 percent from the free throw line, making 17-18 attempts. The Racers became the first visiting team since 1986 to score 100+ in the Jack Stephens Center.
