Murray State women's basketball travels to Tuscaloosa for a weekend matchup with ranked Crimson Tide

Murray State women's basketball travels to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to take on the nationally-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday. The matchup marks the second ever meeting between the Racers and Crimson Tide.

Four Racers all average 15 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Katelyn Young, Haven Ford, and Ava Learn. Poock is the current Missouri Valley Conference player of the Week following her performances against Saint Louis and Austin Peay.

The Racers enter the contest at 5-2 on the season with a 116-80 victory over Austin Peay last time out. The 116 are the most ever against a Divison 1 opponent by Murray State.

Scouting Report

Alabama enters the game at 9-1 on the season. Sarah Ashlee Barker leads UA with 15.8 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game. Zaay Green also averages 15.8 points while dishing out 46 assists to lead the team.
