Racer Football Announces 2025 Schedule

Murray State’s schedule have five home games in the 53rd season of games in Roy Stewart Stadium
Murray State Football head coach Jody Wright leads the Racers into the 2025 season that features five home games and MSU's third season in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

"I've said before that Murray State fans are some of the best in the nation and we appreciate the way they showed up at our home games to create an exciting environment at Roy Stewart Stadium," Wright stated. "Our early non-conference games represent a challenge, including taking on Conference USA Champion, Jacksonville State, top Sun Belt Conference program, Georgia State, one of the top SoCon teams, East Tennessee State and Southeastern Louisiana, an outstanding program from the Southland Conference. My staff and I are working relentlessly to recruit the next crop of great Racers to win games and compete in the best FCS league in the nation, the Missouri Valley Football Conference."

The 53rd season of collegiate football at Murray State's Roy Stewart Stadium begins with the Racers hosting Southeastern Louisiana (Sept. 6) on MSU Family Weekend. MVFC play begins when the Racers host South Dakota (Oct. 4), Illinois State (Oct. 11) and South Dakota State (Oct. 18), before Murray State University enjoys Homecoming Weekend (Nov. 1) as Southern Illinois visits. The Racers host North Dakota (Nov. 15) in the final home game when MSU Football honors their senior student-athletes and their families.

Non-Conference games include the season opener at East Tennessee (Aug. 30). MSU hits the road for guarantee games at Georgia State (Sept. 13) and Jacksonville State (Sept. 20).
