Murray State women's basketball takes on Drake on Saturday
Murray State women's basketball travels to Drake on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Des Moines, Iowa. The matchup between the Racers and Bulldogs is a battle amongst the top of the Missouri Valley Conference as the two sides along with Belmont are tied for first place in the league.Â
The Racers enter the matchup coming off of the programs first-ever win over Northern Iowa 95-89 to move to 5-1 in MVC play.
Four Racers all average 13 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Ava Learn, Haven Ford, and Katelyn Young. The Racers enter the contest at 11-4 on the season.Â

Drake enters the game at 11-6 on the season, falling to Belmont 80-65 in their last time out for their first MVC loss this season. Preseason MVC player of the year Kattie Dinnebier leads the Bulldogs with 20.5 points per game and 7.5 assists per game.Â
