Racer Soccer Sets 25-Year Program GPA Record in Fall 2024

Murray State women's soccer is celebrating a record GPA from fall 2024 as the team posted a GPA of 3.79, tops in the 25 years of the program that was launched in 2000.

"I am very proud of our team and their hard work in the classroom," said MSU Coach Matt Lodge. "Each year, our returning players lead by example and our new players buy in immediately. That is the culture and environment we want to have here at Murray State Soccer and to now have the highest GPA in program history, that's special. We want to continue pushing boundaries in all aspects."

Fall 2024 Murray State Soccer Academic Highlights

Soccer team GPA of 3.79 ranks 1st out of 14 MSU teams.
Team GPA of 3.79 is the highest semester MSU team GPA in history.
13 players had a perfect 4.0 and qualify for the President's List.
12 players had a 3.5 or higher and qualify for the Dean's List.
Every team member had a GPA of 3.1 or higher.
82% of all classes taken resulted in a grade of A.
96% of all classes taken resulted in a grade of A or B.

Murray State Soccer was part of another successful semester when the combined student-athletes of Murray State Athletics posted their 41st consecutive semester with an overall GPA above 3.0.
