Murray State women's basketball hosts Northern Iowa for a Saturday afternoon matchup
Murray State women's basketball hosts Northern Iowa on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky. The Racers defeated the Panthers 95-89 in the previous matchup this season.
Katelyn Young was named a semifinalist for the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year award and leads the MVC in scoring this season with 20.5 points while also averaging 6.4 rebounds.
Four Racers all average 13.9 points or more per contest in Halli Poock, Haven Ford, Ava Learn, and Young. The Racers enter the contest at 15-7 on the season and are coming off of a defeat to Drake on Thursday night.

UNI enters the game at 13-11Â on the season, defeating Belmont 73-61 in their last time out. Maya McDermott leads the Bulldogs with 19.3 points per game while dishing out 118Â assists.
