Murray State Athletics Inks Seven-Year Extension with Nike and BSN SPORTS

Murray State Athletics will continue to rep the world's leading brand for apparel and footwear after inking a transformational, seven-year agreement with Nike and BSN SPORTS, it was announced on Thursday afternoon.

The Racers' new contract further strengthens the partnership with both companies, which was originally inked in 2020, and will deepen the collaboration and relationship with Nike as Murray State continues to promote and display Ja Morant's worldwide brand with the company.

"We have forged an iron-clad relationship with both Nike and BSN SPORTS, and this extension is direct reflection of our commitment to providing top-tier championship resources for our student-athletes," Director of Athletics Nico Yantko said. "Through this agreement, we will also continue to promote and represent the Ja Morant brand and partner with him and Nike to tell his story and the story of his time as a Racer. This mutually beneficial partnership is a game change for our department, and we are thrilled to be part of the Nike family for years to come."

As a result of a new seven-year agreement, Nike and BSN SPORTS will be the exclusive service provider for equipment, practice and competition gear and will continue to maximize department buying power through strategic consolidation of annual purchases, enhance marketing and promotional opportunities and provide increased incentives, rebates, discounts and awards.
