Top Seeded Racers Begin MVC Tournament Path on Friday

Murray State women's basketball meets Bradley on Friday at noon in the MVC Quarterfinals
Murray State women's basketball is set to battle Bradley on Friday at 12 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the Credit Union One Missouri Valley Conference Tournament at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.The Racers enter the tournament as the top seed after securing the program's first ever regular season MVC title.
Katelyn Young, Ava Learn, Halli Poock, and Haven Ford all earned All-MVC honors with Young placing on the first team and the others picking up a second team nod.
The Racers are the top scoring team in the nation at 87.7 points per game and tied a program record 16 wins in conference play this season.
Scouting Report
Bradley enters the game at 14-18 on the season. The Braves picked up a 64-58 over Valparaiso in the first round of the MVC Tournament on Thursday. Soleil Barnes leads BU with 15.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
