Murray State defeated Southeast Missouri 4-3 thanks in part to Dom Decker's eighth inning RBI double

Murray State baseball defeated Southeast Missouri 4-3 on Tuesday night at Johnny Reagan Field in Murray, Kentucky. Tied at 3-3 in the eighth inning, Luke Mistone led off the inning with a double to left field before Dom Decker lined a go ahead RBI double.

Decker and Dan Tauken each had an RBI in the contest while Conner Cunningham led MSU with a pair of RBIs on a base hit. Freshman Jackson Ugo started on the Hill for the Racers, tossing 3.1 innings and giving up just two runs and striking out a trio of Redhawks. Jack Wajda and Reese Oakley scattered just two SEMO hits across 5.2 innings in relief for Murray State as Oakley earned the win after tossing three shutout frames.

Tauken's RBI marked the 100th of his career. The Racers move to 24-9 on the season and 12-5 at Johnny Reagan Field in 2025.
