5-10 Junior comes to Murray State with MVC Experience at Indiana State
Murray State women's basketball coach Rechelle Turner announced the signing of Keslyn Secrist for the 2025-26 season.
Secrist played the last two seasons at Indiana State where she played in 58 games, including 32 starts this season for the Sycamores. This season, the Draper, Virginia native led ISU with 13.8 points per game and nearly five rebounds per contest. Secrist knocked down 51 three point attempts this season and shot 89 percent from the free throw line.
"Keslyn is an outstanding addition for our program," said Turner. "She will provide great size and skill on the wing, and we are extremely pleased to add a player that has already established herself as a high-quality Missouri Valley Conference player. Keslyn will give us another gifted shooter to space the floor, and was one of the nation's best free throw shooters last season. She is a hard-nosed competitor, and she will arrive eager to win and add her character to our championship culture. We are very excited to add Keslyn to the Murray State women's basketball family."
Prior to her college career, Secrist prepped at Pulaski County High School in Draper, Va. With the Cougars, she was a two-time region player of the year and a two-time First Team All-State performer. Secrist is the all-time leading scorer for Pulaski while leading her team to a state runner-up finish.
