Racers Inside Top 5 After First Day in New Orleans

Murray State men's golf is tied for fifth after their first two rounds of the spring at the Gulf Coast Collegiate

Murray State men's golf is tied for fifth after the first two rounds of the Gulf Coast Collegiate at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans, Louisiana. Junior Lennon Albans leads the Racers with a 10-over par after the first two rounds and is ninth in the field.

Sophomore Trey Wall is closely behind at 11-over and is in 14th place. Wall picked up an eagle on the second hole of the day. Sam Guest and Rocco Zakutney are each inside the top 40 heading into the final round.

As a team the Racers shot 316+310=626.
