The Racers competed in Columbia, Mo.

The Murray State women's track & field team had a big day Friday at the Missouri Invitational hosted in Columbia at the Hearnes Center.

MSU won three events including Serena Blackwood in the 60M Dash and Simeon Joseph in the 400M Run, while MSU's 4X400M Relay team of Jordin Noah, Amahrie Harsh, Simone Joseph and Breece Bass posted a time of 3:44.67 to take first place. The Racers are back in action (Feb. 13-14) in Nashville at the Indoor Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt.

Meet Notes

Tayla Tootle had the second all-time pole vault for the Racers are 3.85m to place second Mizzou, Reagan Gibson was fourth at 3.70M.
Alyssa was second in the Long Jump at 5.73M and was fourth in the 60M Dash at 7.60.
Brooke Probst placed second in the High Jump at 1.70M.
Aryn Lanier-Collier was second in the 60M Hurdles at 8.75.
Lindley Johnston and Briana Ritchie also had personal record in the Long Jump.
Serena Blackwood's effort in the 60M Dash was second all-time at Murray State at 7.41, behind only Faith Bostick who ran a 7.39 in 2024.
In the 200M, Blackwood had her lifetime best 24.36 in
Joseph won the 400M Dash with a 55.75 and Breece Bass and Jordin Noah each had PR's.
Ainsley Smith bested her PR time by almost three seconds at 2:13.75 in the 800M.
In the 3000M Run, Jocelyn Host, Molly Robertson, Autumn Egleston and Smith all had PR times.
Abby Yanka had a PR in the Shot Put with a throw of 9.06M.
Kinsey Huber had a PR in the 200M at 25.77.
