"We are extremely proud of the kids and how they competed the last few days," said head coach Adam Kiesler. "There were numerous kids who outscored what they came into the meet projected to do. Track and field is known for being an individual sport, but Murray State track and field is a team sport, and these kids did everything they could for the team. Serena and Cheyenne coming away with victories is a big highlight, and Brooke and Cheyenne hopefully will join Serena in Lexington in two weeks with their performances today. I will miss the 2026 team a lot, and it was fun to watch them grow. I thank them for everything they did for the school and me as a coach and person."
