Wall Named MVC Golfer of the Week

Murray State sophomore Trey Wall picked up MVC Golfer of the Week honors

Murray State sophomore golfer Trey Wall was named Missouri Valley Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office on Thursday morning. Wall finished fifth at the Bluegrass Collegiate Invitational held at the University Course of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. Wall finished with rounds of one-under, five-over, and one-over.

In the third round, Wall posted an Eagle on the par four ninth hole to highlight his final round of the week. In the first round of the tournament, he finished with seven birdies.

Wall now has five top 10 finishes this season in just 10 events and this marks the fifth golfer of the week honor for a MSU player this season.
