Zentko Named to NCBWA Midseason Stopper of the Year Watchlist

MURRAY, Ky. – Senior left-hander Dylan Zentko was named to the Midseason Stopper of the Year Watchlist by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Wednesday. Zentko was the lone reliever in the Missouri Valley Conference to be named to the list.
Zentko, in 13 appearances this season, has posted a 4.30 ERA while striking out 21 batters across 23 innings pitched with just seven walks.
The southpaw has recorded seven saves on the year, nearing the single-season program record of nine which was set last year by Graham Kelham. Zentko has allowed an opponent batting average of .244 throughout his 2026 campaign.
Zentko and the Racers will travel to Carbondale, Illinois, to take on the Southern Illinois Salukis in a weekend series matchup between the top two MVC preseason favorites.
