Racers Clinch Three-Seed in MVC Championship

Murray State to Face Evansville in First Round
The Murray State Racers (26-21, 17-9 MVC) will compete in the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference Softball Championship in Carbondale, Illinois.
The third-seed Racers will open tournament play on Wednesday, May 6, at 3:00 p.m. CT against the sixth-seed Evansville Purple Aces. The Racers dropped the opening two games of their regular season series on March 20, before storming back the following day to avoid a sweep with a 3-1 win. Â
