MSU Defenders Receive Preseason Honors
Dylan Rowsey and Conlee Crossno received preseason honors from Phil Steele ahead of the 2026 season, as announced on Monday. Â
Rowsey continues to receive preseason attention as the safety has previously been named to the Buck Buchanan Award watch list and was named a preseason All-American by FCS Football Central before being named a preseason second-team All-American by Phil Steele. Â
Linebacker Conlee Crossno joins Rowsey on Steele's preseason All-MVFC list, as Rowsey was named to the first team and Crossno was named to the second team. Â
Murray State football kicks off the 2026 season at home on Thursday, August 27 at 6 p.m. as the Racers host the Eastern Illinois Panthers for a Week 0 matchup.
