Before MSU
Personal
- Joined the Racers from Davidson College and had a tremendous one season with the Racers.
- Started 33 games and had a scoring average of 4.3ppg and 1.7rpg.
- Was a .362 shooter from the field (51-of-141) and .315 from the 3-point line (28-of-89).
- He was a .857 from the free throw line (12-of-14).
- Had 40 assists and 20 steals.
- Had three games of 10 plus points including a season-high 13 points against Memphis (12-10-21) on 3-of-6 shooting from the 3-point line.
- His best rebound game was seven twice: Illinois State (11-16-21) and SIUE (1-8-22).
- Started the first 33 games of the season before an injury in the first part of the Racers’ NCAA Tournament game with San Francisco.
- Sadly, Carter was unable to play in MSU’s second NCAA game against Saint Peter's.

- Ws a 46 percent shooter from the field, 38 percent from the 3-point line and 76 percent from the free throw line.
- Ranked third in the Atlantic 10 Conference with an assist/turnover rate of 2.23.
- Started all of Davidson's 22 games and had four games of 20 or more points.
- Had a season-best 24 points against La Salle where he was 10-of-12 from the field, including 4-of-6 from 3-point line.
- Vs Georgia Southern, hit 7-of-8 from 3-point range in a 23-point performance.
- Scored 22 points with five rebounds and three assists in wins over both Vanderbilt and Rhode Island.
- Finished his prep career as the all-time leading scorer at East Chapel Hill High School.
