- A native of Fort Worth, Texas, he recently finished his professional basketball career and comes to MSU to work with new head coach Ryan Miller and staff.
Playing Career
- At Timberland High School, was rated a four-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals.com and Scout.com and 10th-best point guard and the 47th overall prospect nationally in the class of 2014.
- Played collegiately from 2014-19 one season at Texas A&M and three at TCU when MSU head coach Ryan Miller was an assistant to head coach Jamie Dixon.
- Was named to the Big-12 All-Newcomer Team in 2017 and was named All-Big 12 in 2019, both with TCU.
- Was part of the TCU team that upset No. 1 Kansas at the Big-12 Tournament.
- In 2017 was part of the TCU team that won the National Invitational Tournament.
- As a senior at TCU in 2018-19, As one of only two major conference players to have 400 points, 200 assists and 50 steals.
- Scored a career-high 23 points against Oral Roberts and had a career-high 14 assists vs Fresno State, each in 2018.
- Set the all-time assist record at TCU with 672 and finished his career with 1,202 points.
- From 2019-22, played for seven teams in the NBA G-League including Cleveland Charge, Santa Cruz Warriors, Iowa Wolves, Salt Lake City Stars, Wisconsin Herd, Ft. Wayne Mad Ants, Long Island Nets,Â
- Internationally, saw action in Australia, India, Ivory Coast and New Zealand.
Personal
- Earned his undergrad degree from TCU in 2019.
- Robinson's mother also played collegiately in women's basketball at TCU, as son wore No. 25, same as his mom.
