Before MSU: A four-year member of the Prairie Ridge High School tennis team where she and her doubles partner, Allison Murphy, brought home the Illinois State Doubles Championship in 2009...claimed the IHSA sectional doubles title...earned a top-8 raking throughout her prep career in doubles...claimed a backdraw championship in the 2010 Wisconsin Indoor Junior Championship...finished in the top three in singles sectionals since her eight grade season...was ranked in the top-24 in the state of Illinois.
PERSONAL: Born Carolyn Joan Huerth, Aug. 18, 1993 in Prairie Grove, Ill....daughter of Wayne Huerth and Ann Roberts-Huerth...has two brothers; Will (14) and Charlie (6) and one sister Claudia (10)...majoring in marketing.
