Robert (Bob) G. Burton, Sr. is a 1962 graduate of Murray State University and holds a Master of Arts degree while completing additional post-graduate work at other universities.  Mr. Burton is the recipient of two honorary doctorates in business from Murray State University and University of Connecticut and was captain of MSU’s 1962 football team, earning all OVC honors at Tackle, before being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. He has been recognized by Murray State University as the first recipient of the Distinguished Alumnus and Golden Horseshoe awards from the MSU Alumni Association, as well as the school’s Distinguished Achievement Award from the Arthur J. Bauernfeind College of Business. He is also a member of the Racer Athletics Hall of Fame.

Bob Burton has a long and distinguished career in business. He is currently Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Stamford, Connecticut based Cenveo, Inc. Cenveo is an international leader in the printing and publishing industries and has more than 100 facilities located throughout the world. Mr. Burton is Cenveo’s largest individual shareholder and the Burton family is the largest group of shareholders of Cenveo stock. In addition, Mr. Burton founded Burton Capital Management, LLC, in 2003, an entity that invests in manufacturing companies. Since its formation, he has been Chairman, CEO and sole managing member. He is recognized as a printing and manufacturing leader and is a member of the Printing Hall of Fame.
