- Rob Hart competed for the Racer Football team from 1995-99.
- He Murray State in the spring of 1995 to play for Coach Houston Nutt.
- After a redshirt season, the barefoot place kicker from England set records and helped the Racers to an Ohio Valley Conference championship in 1996.Â
- He was a two-time All-OVC selection (1996 & 1997)
- In 1996, Hart was named All-America in 1996.
- He set OVC records for field goals in a season (25) and points scored in a season (125) in 1996. He also made 25-of-31 in field goals and 50-of-51 in point-after-tries.
- He was part of the Racers' first postseason win when MSU hosted Western Illinois and won 34-6 in the 1996 NCAA playoffs.
- In 1997, Hart kicked for Coach Denver Johnson and was 13-of-24 in field goals and a perfect 32-of-32 in PATs.
- In his two-year career with the Racers, Hart hit 38-of-55 field goals and was 82-of-83 in PATs.
- After graduating from MSU in 1999, Hart spent three seasons in the National Football League with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2002), Miami Dolphins (2003) and New Orleans Saints (2004), but did not appear in a game.
- His greatest professional success came in NFL-Europe with the London Monarchs (1998) and Scottish Claymores (1999-04).
- He was twice named All-NFLE and was the league's all-time scorer with 333 points when his career ended.
- In 2006, he was inducted into the Scottish Claymores Hall of Fame
