The Murray State women's basketball team will face Southeast Missouri on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the CFSB Center. Out of the 58 games played between the two opponents, 32 have been decided by 10-points or less.

MSU remains in the top 50 in three categories of all NCAA Division I schools. They start ranked fifth in defensive rebounds per game with 31. The team averages 7.6 three-point field goals per game, which ranks them 33rd in the nation, while their scoring offense of 72.8 is ranked 46th.

After battling hard, MSU fell 95-85 to UT Martin Saturday at the CFSB Center. The Racers are the first team to score 80-plus points against the Skyhawks this season. The Racers were led by Julia Fox who scored a career-high 20 points. Three additional Racers scored in double-digit points coming from Keiona Kirby with 19, LeAsia Wright who tied her career-high with 18, and Netanya Jackson with 11. Jackson was the only player in the game to bring down 10 rebounds, while notching her fourth double-double of the season. Fox had new career-high with her seven field goals made and six three-point field goals made. Wright tied her three-point field goals made with three, and free-throws made with five. Fox's 13 three-point field goals attempted is tied for 10th on the MSU All-Time List. MSU got 57 points from bench players, which ties their season-high for bench points.

The Redhawks and Racers always play close game, but Southeast Missouri holds a 33-25 advantage. Murray State has a one game win streak at home going into the game.

Southeast Missouri fell 70-62 to Austin Peay on Saturday. The Redhawks shot 38.7-percent from the floor, while holding the Lady Govs to a 40.6-percent field goal percentage. Three played scored in double-digits in the loss including Erin Bollmann and Jasmine Robinson who added a team-high 13 points, while Yelena Rosado added 10. Connor King grabbed 10 rebounds for team-high rebounds. The team had one more turnover than the Lady Govs, but was able to score 21 points off of Austin Peay's turnovers.
