The Murray State women's golf team came home with a sixth place finish at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate in Sevierville, Tenn.

The Racers fired scores of 318-316=634 and finished ahead of seventh place Evansville (641) and Dayton (669).

Jacklyn Van Meter led the way with a 12^th place finish with scores of 79-76=155, while Moa Folke placed 23^rd with scores of 82-78=160. Sydney Trimble had scores of 79-82=161 for a spot in 26^th place, while Abbi Stamper (78-84=162) and Sophie Hillier (82-80=162) had a share of 30^th place.

MSU's Gina Nuzzo placed 13^th as an individual with scores of 76-80=156 and Minta Yin had scores of 79-79=158 for a spot in 17^th place.

Belmont was the winner at 602, ahead of Eastern Kentucky at 620. Tennessee Tech (629), Jacksonville State (632) and Indiana State rounded out the top-5.

The Ocala Spring Collegiate Invitational (March 22-24) is the Racers' next stop. The 54-hole event will be played at Juliette Golf Course in Ocala, Fla.
