Racers Compete at NCAA Southeast Regional

The Murray State men's and women's cross country teams ran at the NCAA Southeast Regional this morning in Charlottesville, Virginia to wrap up the 2019 season.
Competing against some of the top teams in the country, the women finished 31st in a 6K while the men were 33rd running a 10K. For both teams, it was the longest distance they had run this season.
For the women, Emma Graf led the way once again with a time of 23:05.4. Emma Creviston and Morgan Vosler were not too far behind with times of 23:35.1 and 23:36.1, respectively. Katelyn Gilbert was fourth for the Racers with a time of 24:01.6 while Kristin Dent rounded out the scoring with a time of 24:33.5. Jessica Stein and Sophie Grogan also ran for the Racers and finished with times of 25:15.6 and 25:49.3.
On the men's side, Caleb Kawasaki found himself leading the Racers again with a time of 33:22.2. Meyer Makemson followed him with a time of 34:35.5 while Christian Slone and Zach Balleau finished back-to-back with times of 34:44.3 and 34:48.6, respectively. Zan McClelland was the team's fifth finisher with a time of 35:08.3. Robert Gibson and Tyler Bradley rounded up the Racer contingent with times of 35:54.1 and 36:15.6.
