The right hander held the Purple Aces at bay as the Racers led 6-1 when he exited the game. On the week, he tossed 6.2 innings pitched while allowing just one earned run and picking up five strikeouts. This season, his ERA stands at 2.84 while opponents are hitting just .203.
Murray State collected 30 hits against Evansville this weekend to give the Racers a league-high 390 hits this season. The Racers also lead the Valley in runs scored with 298, giving them nearly 30 more than the next highest total.
