The Racers had a big day at Vandy's one-day event in Nashville
Murray State's DiamonAsia Taylor and Andrea Segovia had a big days for the Racers in Nashville at the Commodore Challenge hosted by Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee.
Taylor won the high jump competition with the second-highest effort in MSU history of 1.75M Her jump is second to only the 1.80M effort Meghan Fletcher posted in 2023. She also placed fifth in the triple jump at 11.40M.

Segovia placed second in the long jump event with a leap of 5.79M and she doubled up with a third place showing in the 60M hurdles with a time of 8.80.

MSU's Tayla Tootle finished in a tie for top honors in the pole vault as she and Vanderbilt's Jacqueline Rose each had a high vault of 3.65M. Tottle's teammates, Morgan Noyes and Jaiden Knoop shared third place at 3.50M.

The Racers' next meet is another appearance in Nashville (Jan. 17-18) at the Vanderbilt Invitational.
