Rifle Adds Haymond on November Signing Day

Ashley Haymond Signs With MSU Rifle
Murray State Rifle has signed Shelbyville, Kentucky native Ashley Haymond.Â
The 2026 high school graduate brings a wide range of accolades to the Murray State program. As a Kentucky 4-H shooter, Haymond is a three-time 12-14 Air Target Rifle state champion, and won the 12-14 .22 Target Rifle championship in 2023. She is also a three-time Junior Olympic qualifier in air rifle, and won a CMP 3 position Air Rifle Camp bronze Medal in 2022. In 2023, she won a CMP NOrtheast Regional U15 Gold Medal and a CMP Advanced Standing Camp Gold Medal. She followed that in 2024 by qualifying for the MCJROTC Service Championship in 15th place and winning a JROTC National Championship.Â
"We are very excited to welcome Ashley to the Racer Family," said head coach Alan Lollar. "She is a quality shooter with a good work ethic."
