Murray, Ky. - The Murray State Racers earned 10 Missouri Valley Conference end-of-season awards, tying the program record set by the 2017 Murray State Soccer team.
The Racers coaching staff, head coach Matt Lodge, assistant coach Brad Wilson, and goalkeeper coach Emily Kelly, earned MVC Co-Coaching Staff of the Year after leading Murray State to an outstanding regular season. Lodge becomes the first MSU head coach to win a coaching staff of the year award in both the OVC and MVC.
"I am fortunate enough to be surrounded by hard-working, intelligent coaches that make my job easy," Lodge said. "Brad's knowledge of the game is unmatched and he connects with players so well. Emily has been integral in the development of our goalkeepers and is one of the brightest GK coaches not only in the MVC but in the nation. I also want to recognize our trainer, Jess Jocelyn. We would not have had the success this season if we did not have her keeping our players healthy and ready to play."
Senior captain Mary Hardy was named MVC Player of the Year, becoming the first player in Murray State history to receive the honor. Hardy also earned First Team All-MVC recognition for the third straight year. She becomes just the fourth Racer to appear on a First Team All-Conference roster in program history.
Hardy finished the regular season ranked among the MVC leaders. She is tied for fourth in shots and points, tied for eighth in goals scored, and tied for second in assists.
"I am so happy for Mary," Lodge said. "She has done it all four years and fully deserves this recognition in her senior season. Mary has helped push this program forward and has set the standard for all players."
Senior Megan Wilson joined Hardy with an individual honor of her own, earning MVC Defensive Player of the Year, along with a First Team All-MVC selection. Wilson anchored the Racers defense all season and helped lead MSU to eight clean sheets in 2025. She also scored two goals and recorded a career-high four assists, which ranks tied for seventh in the MVC.
"I could not be more proud of Megan," Lodge said. "Her growth over the past four seasons has been incredible. She has been moved all over the field, trusted the process, and has become the best defender in the MVC. A true leader and an absolute warrior on the pitch."
Sophomore Breece Bass also earned First Team All-MVC, her third MVCÂ honor. She led the MVC in total shots with 60, and shots per match at 3.33. Bass finished tenth in points and tied for seventh in assists with four.
Two Racers earned Second Team All-MVC honors, junior Griselda Revolorio and freshman Katie Donoghue. Revolorio recorded six shutouts, tied for second in the MVC, despite missing three matches. She also ranks second in the conference in saves per match at 4.33.
Donoghue scored two goals and two assists in her debut season, and both goals were game-winners. Her performance also earned her a spot on the MVC All-Freshman Team.
Joining her on the All-Freshman Team is Ava Wilson. Wilson scored one goal and recorded one assist, making eight starts in 16 matches played. Her goal was a game-winner against Evansville, which began the Racers five-match win streak to end conference play.
The Racers will look to add to their postseason run as they host UIC in the Missouri Valley Conference semifinal match at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cutchin Field.
