Murray State Women's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule

MURRAY, Ky. - The Murray State women's soccer program announced its 2026 schedule, featuring an 18-match regular season that balances nine home dates with nine road contests, highlighted by nonconference meetings with three power-conference programs.
Coming off a semifinal appearance in the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, the Racers will be tested early. Murray State opens the campaign with two road exhibitions, visiting Western Kentucky on Aug. 5 and Bellarmine on Aug. 8. The regular season officially kicks off Aug. 12 at Southeastern Conference member Ole Miss.
The Racers make their home debut four days later, hosting Missouri on Aug. 16 at 1 p.m. Murray State then travels to face national power Notre Dame on Aug. 23. The nonconference home slate continues with back-to-back matchups against UT Martin on Aug. 27 and Georgia Southern on Aug. 30. Following a road trip to Marshall on Sept. 3, the Racers return home to host Austin Peay on Sept. 6. The nonconference schedule concludes with consecutive road tests at Tennessee Tech on Sept. 10 and Lindenwood on Sept. 13.
Conference play opens Sept. 20 when Murray State welcomes Illinois State to Murray for a 1 p.m. kickoff. The Racers' nine-match league schedule includes additional home dates against Valparaiso (Oct. 4), UIC (Oct. 11) and Indiana State (Oct. 25).
Murray State will travel for MVC matchups against Southern Illinois (Sept. 26), Drake (Oct. 15), Northern Iowa (Oct. 18) and Evansville (Nov. 1).
The regular season culminates on Nov. 5, as Murray State hosts Belmont for a 1 p.m. finale. The Missouri Valley Conference Championship is scheduled for Nov. 8-15.
