Murray State looks for a road win in Cedar Falls
Looking for their first win of the season, the Murray State Racers seek it Saturday on the road against the Northern Iowa Panthers at the UNI Dome in Cedar Falls at 1 p.m.
The Racers are coming off a home loss last weekend to Southern Illinois 27-7 and the Panthers lost at Illinois State 31-16.
Both teams are looking for their first win of the season in the Missouri Valley Conference and the game marks the Racers' first meeting with the Panthers in the MVFC.
The only matchup between the Panthers and Racers came in the 1995 I-AA Playoffs. In the back-to-back OVC championship and FCS playoff appearances seasons under Coach Houston Nutt, the Racers hosted UNI, but fell 35-34.
