Racers Cruise to Seventh Straight Win to Finish Non-Conference Play

Murray State secured a 57 point victory over Lindsey Wilson on Saturday afternoon
Haven Ford scored a game-high 23 points to lead Murray State to a dominant 101-44 victory over Lindsey Wilson on Saturday afternoon at the CFSB Center.
The Racers (9-2) established control early, jumping out to a 31-12 lead in the first quarter and never trailing in the contest. Murray State's offense was productive throughout, shooting 49.4% from the field and connecting on a season high 14 three-pointers.
Ford led five Racers in double figures, finishing 8-of-14 from the floor and 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. Keslyn Secrist and Sharnecce Currie-Jelks both recorded double-doubles in the win. Secrist finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Currie-Jelks added 13 points and 10 boards. Halli Poock contributed 15 points, and Jada Cook added 10 points off the bench.
Murray State dominated the glass, outrebounding Lindsey Wilson 52-29. The Racer defense also produced 18 turnovers and converted g them into 25 points. The Racers outscored the visitors 44-20 in the paint and 16-2 on the fast break.
