6-3 Sophomore comes to Murray State after playing with DePaul
Murray State women's basketball coach Rechelle Turner announced the signing of Ellery Minch for the 2025-26 season.
Minch last season at DePaul where she played in 21 games as a true freshman. In her lone season with the Blue Demons, she played over 100 minutes and scored a season high nine points against Kansas State.
"Ellery is an outstanding addition for our program," said Turner. "She will add great length and skill to our team, and we believe her versatility will allow her to impact the game both at the rim and out to 25 feet from the basket. Ellery arrives with a ceiling as high as her reach at 6-3, and we are eager to turn her tremendous potential into big time production. Adding high character talent eager and able to develop with the core of our team is the best way to create a sustainable championship pursuit, and Ellery absolutely checks all of those boxes. We are very excited to welcome her to the Murray State women's basketball family."
Prior to her college career, Minch prepped at Mt. Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana. With the Marauders, she was named an Indiana All-Star as a senior in addition to a Hoosier Gym Classic All-Star. Minch earned Academic All-State honors three times in her high school career and averaged 14.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks as a senior while leading her team to a sectional title.
