Seven Racers Receive All-MVC Honors

Softball Athletes Honored Ahead of MVC Championship
Seven members of the Murray State softball team received All-Missouri Valley Conference honors, as announced by the league office in St. Louis on Wednesday morning.
Adison Hicks headlines the MSU selections, being named to the All-MVC First Team. After missing the 2025 season due to injury, Hicks has been a major part of the Racers' success at the plate. Featuring a .317 batting average, the Murray native totaled 44 hits and 33 RBI with seven home runs. She finished the regular season with 10 stolen bases on 10 attempts and a .922 fielding percentage at second base.
Allie Waldron caps off her freshman season by being named to the All-MVC Second Team. The St. Louis native is second on the team with a .329 batting average and 46 hits. She adds 29 RBI and notched a pair of two-homer games in 2026. In addition to her offensive play, the lefty started all 47 games behind the dish and committed just three errors on the season.
Kenley Minor was named to the All-MVC Second Team after a sophomore season that saw her lead the Racers with eight home runs and 36 RBI. She tied a Murray State record with seven RBI in a single game after homering twice in a 13-2 win at UIC.
Parker Holcombe joins the All-MVC Second Team after missing much of the early season due to injury. After returning, the junior finishes the regular season with a .321 batting average, 36 hits, and 21 RBI on the year while remaining a fixture at the shortstop position.
Evansville transfer Kynadee Warner was named to the All-MVC Second Team after leading the team with a .366 batting average and tallying 59 regular-season hits with six RBI. She was also part of an outfield unit that committed just two errors all season, as Warner finished the regular season with a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Senior Bre Haislip rounds out the All-MVC Second Team for the Racers after a productive season in the circle. The Petersburg, Tennessee, native posted a 3.09 ERA through the regular season with an 11-8 record across 32 appearances and 21 starts. Haislip pitched seven complete games with two shutouts and 131 1/3 total innings and led the team with 83 strikeouts.
Bailey Broemmer was named to the MVC All-Defensive Team after anchoring the outfield from the center field position. The senior finished the year with a .317 batting average, 29 RBI, and seven home runs to go with a .988 fielding percentage and a deep highlight tape full of diving catches.
