2008-09: Played the top spot in doubles...went 15-5 in double play overall and finished 7-1 in OVC doubles and 6-0 in OVC doubles matches with Anna Pennington...the duo recorded the best overall win percentage in the OVC at 100%...finished 8-7 in singles play, playing mainly from the number 1 and number 2 positions...won five or six singles matches to begin the season...pulled out a 6-2, 6-2 straight sets victory against Eastern Illinois to help MSU advance in the OVC Tournament...six of her eight victories in singles were in straight sets.
2007-08: Played the top spot in both singles and doubles...went 13-18 overall in singles action, including 8-11 in dual action...began the spring with three-straight singles victories...pulled out a 6-7, 6-3, 7-6 victory against Eastern Illinois in the regular-season finale to help the team to a 4-3 victory...teamed with Anne Pennington to 20-3 in doubles action... duo was 16-2 in dual matches, including going 8-2 in OVC action...put together a stretch of 15-straight victories...three doubles losses was the fewest in a season since 1992 and the .870 winning percentage is the third best in the last 30 years.
2006-07: Finished her freshman season by going 16-17 in singles matches and 21-8 in doubles action...began her career by winning four of her first five matches over the first two fall tournaments...played primarily at No. 4 singles during the spring where she went 7-3 during OVC action...won all seven of her conference matches in straight sets...avenged an early loss to Whitnie Warren of Samford by beating her 6-2, 6-4 in helping the Racers capture the OVC Tournament championship...teamed with Lynsey Bochenek to go 16-3 during the spring season...were a perfect 9-0 in OVC action and only allowed two opponents to win at least five games...gave up three games or less in six of their conference matches...defeated Eastern Illinois 8-2 in the OVC semifinals and clinched the doubles point in the championship match with an 8-3 victory over Samford...trailing No. 16 Vanderbilt 6-7 when the match was halted in the NCAA Tournament...selected to the 2006-07 Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Before MSU: As a member of Whitehaven High School's tennis team, McGahee earned team MVP honors in 2003, 2004 and 2005...selected as the district and the city MVP in 2003, 2004 and 2005...claimed the Memphis Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) District Singles Championship in 2004 and 2005...won the MIAA City Singles Championship in 2005...Won the MIAA District and Region Doubles Championship in 2005...advanced to the second round of the state doubles tournament in 2005...Whitehaven's team captain in 2003, 2004 and 2005...earned a No. 5 ranking in Tennessee in 2004...Tunica National Southern Indoor Adult Open Singles Champion in 2005...ATA National Singles and Doubles Runner-Up in 2005...United States Tennis Association competitor for 13 years...a Wendy's High School Heisman Trophy nominee in 2005...was also a member of Whitehaven's girl's basketball team...named the team's Most Valuable Offensive Player in 2004 and the Most Valuable Rebounder in 2005...selected all-state in 2004 and 2005...named Rookie of the Year as a member of the Tigers' volleyball team in 2005.
