Before MSU
Perkins was a three-time all-district and all-conference selection for the Vikings and helped lead Francis Howell to a state title his freshman and senior years and a runner-up finish as a sophomore. Perkins, who was named all-state following his senior season, was the eighth-rated prospect out of Missouri and was also an all-state football player for the Vikings. Perkins' brother Ryan is also with the Racers.
