Enjoyed an outstanding junior season...In first two games of the season had a punt return and a kickoff return for touchdowns...had four 100-plus rushing games last season...Against SEMO on Oct. 23rd had 167 yards on 25 carries and two touchdowns...Will team with Chad Cook to give the Racers a feared rushing combination...Is a dangerous kick returner...Averaged 21.3 yards per kickoff return in 2004...Ranked 4th in the OVC in all-purpose yards with 1,353.
HIGH SCHOOL: Turner in one of the greatest high school careers in the south while at BTWHS...Was a three-time all-state pick in Georgia...Missed four games with injury his senior season but still rushed for more than 1,700 yards...Racked up 129 career TD’s...Was a varsity starter as a 9th grader...In four seasons, amassed more than 11,000 all-purpose yards.
