After a week off, the Murray State men's and women's cross country teams head to Nashville, Saturday to compete at the Commodore Classic, hosted by Vanderbilt University.
The men will run an 8K for the first time this season with the race set to begin at 9 a.m, while the women will run a 5K at 10 a.m. Both races will take place on the Vaughn's Gap Cross Country Course at Percy Warner Park in Nashville.
The race marks a return to the Commodore Classic for MSU after a year hiatus, having ran in the event in 2015 and 2016.
Two weeks ago at the Saluki Invitational saw positive results for the Racers as the women finished second and the men were third. Seniors Rebekah Priddy and Vince Turner paced their respective teams as they finished seventh and fourth overall, respectively.
