Brennan McCullough put on a show for the Racers as he led Murray State to a 3-0 week with wins over Austin Peay and Valparaiso last week. The graduate student hit .667 for the week, going 8-for-12 with a double and two home runs including a game-tying blast against APSU. In Murray State's first game against Valpo, McCullough went 4-for-4 while reaching base six times in the contest. For the week, the first baseman earned a 1.956 OPS with an on-base percentage over .700.

The Racer bats were scorching hot throughout last week, scoring 40 runs across three games while hitting .367 as a team and going 3-0. Murray State hit seven home runs and 19 extra-base hits for the week while combining for a team OPS of 1.069
