Racers Face Northern Iowa To Kickstart Final Regular Season Road Trip

With two games left in the regular season before Missouri Valley Conference tournament play, the Racers hit the road to face the Northern Iowa Panthers on Thursday, October 24th in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Kick off is set for 3 p.m. CT at the UNI Soccer Field.

The Racers coming off a 2-1 win over Valparaiso in the regular season home finale, Morgan Bodker headed the game-winner on a corner kick the same day as her Senior Day celebration, it was her third career game-winning goal.

Murray State are 1-1 all-time against UNI, with their first matchup just two years ago in 2022. The Racers were victorious last year against the Panthers with a 4-1 win.

There are at least three Racers among the top 15 in the MVC in shots, shots on goal and goals. Bass and Mary Hardy hold two of the top three spots in total shots taken, with Breece having taken 39 shots and Hardy with 36.

Bass also sits in a tie for fourth with 19 shots on goal, followed by Hardy who is tied for seventh with 17. Sydney Etter rounds out the list in a tie for 14th with 15 shots on target.

Hardy is tied for seventh with five goals, followed by Etter and Bodker who are tied for 12th with four goals apiece.
