The Racers played this week in Boulder City, Nevada

The Murray State women's golf team saw their final round become their best round to earn a sixth-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder City, Nevada.

The Racers had a score line of 298-299-292=899 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in the Las Vegas area.

Murray State's Eliza Mae Kho, a senior, and Ella Scherer, a freshman, posted a pair of top-20 finishes in the field of 76 players. Kho carded scores of 73-73-74=220 and finished 17^th and Scherer posted 73-75-73=221 and placed 20^th.

Kho led the field in total pars with 45 in the 54-hole event.

The Racers play their third spring event in Atlanta at the Georgia State Spring Invitational (March 25-26), before hosting the Jan Weaver Invitational (April 6-7) at Miller Memorial. The 2023-24 season culminates at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship (April 14-16) in Waterloo, Ill.
